All About
It’s pronounced TOO-lah-tim-OO-tee.
I’m a fiction writer, currently working on my first novel. Have you read anything I’ve written? Probably not, and that’s fine. In 2008 one of my stories won an O. Henry Award, though it was misprinted in the anthology. Other stories have appeared in Threepenny Review, Malahat Review, Cimarron Review, and Wag’s Revue.
At Stanford I received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Symbolic Systems, and I recently got a Fiction MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where I’m currently a third-year adjunct professor. I used to work as a UX researcher in Silicon Valley, and co-authored a book on remote research methods as if you care.
I was raised in Western Massachusetts. (For all you well-meaning racists out there, I’m quote-unquote originally from Thailand.)
